Film and Theatre Actress, Vocalist, Producer
Hey I'm Gabby
I began performing professionally in Houston’s theater district at the age of six - check out my VERY EMBARRASSING, VERY FIRST HEADSHOT below. **You're welcome.** I didn't, however, treat this new found love of performing like a hobby in the way that any other kid would. Once I'm in, I am ALL F*CKING IN.
I was cast in back to back shows at Theatre Under the Stars, spent everyday after school training at the Humphrey's School of Musical Theatre, performed at the 2008 Macy’s Day parade in New York, belted out National Anthems at several Houston home-town events, preformed with Andrea Bocelli at his Christmas concert in Houston, and was featured on News and talk show programs in both Austin and Houston. And by the way, this was all before I got into high school.
Beyond theatre, I was also incredibly passionate about vocal performance and music (ie - I obviously wanted to be the next Hannah Montana.) In 2009, I released an EP of five original songs written by some of the most successful pop writers in the music industry and produced by Houston native David Rice, who has earned platinum records for his song writing and production work with Mandy Moore.
Intense training has always been a core-value of my work as an actor, so after graduating high school in 2015, I decided to pursue my BFA in Acting from DePaul University in Chicago. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in June of 2019 and decided to escape the f*cking freezing Chicago winters and move to Los Angeles.
That pretty much brings you up to speed as to where I am now! Most recently, I signed with Jackson Entertainment and am in the initial stages of creating a female-centric production company called Beauty and Brains. All this to say... I'm not just another "20-something year old, basic b*tch." I bring commitment, innovation, and passion to every project I work on. As an actor, I am particularly drawn to nuanced, dramatic roles with rich secrets and strong arcs - think Wendy in Ozark or June in The Handmaid's Tale.
In the future, in addition to acting, I hope to produce, travel as much as possible, and be an advocate for women’s rights within the entertainment industry. Join me as I pave my way!
